This hammock has the same size bed as the regular Mayan Double Hammock, but shorter suspension arms. With a total length of about 10 feet, it will comfortably fit into an 8 and 1/2 foot hanging area. As the short suspension arms constrict the full opening of the hammock, it is most useful as a compact lounging area, or as a bed for persons under 6 feet tall. This hammock is polypro nylon, crafted to the same specifications as the regular Yucatecan Double Hammock, except that it is about three feet shorter. This is a hammock that can fit into tight spaces on a boat, or other outside locations where space is at a premium, and where it's resistance to mildew is a plus. The shorter ends make it a little less spacious that the regular double, but makes it possible to use a hammock where you otherwise might not.
