At last - a safer one-bar hammock! Rigid spreader-bars in both ends of a hammock create instability and reduce comfortable hammock use. The Viking Hammock has a laminated, curved single bar at one end only and because of this, hammock "fall-out" is a thing of the past. This hammock can be used in stands or between hammock supports.



The design of this single bar hammock is the result of colaboration of Nicamaka and designer Robert Reinders. Although most occupants will place their heads at the bar-end, placing heads at the other end works quite well and some say better. The bed of the Viking Hammock has 864 sprang woven cords for maximum comfort.   Recommended stands include the 15 foot center beam stand and the wooden Arc stand.  The 16' stands will also be fine.
