Prior to that, Seaside Hammocks had been operating as a "Mom and Pop" type hammock shop in Village by the Sea in Lantana, Florida. This funky Key West style shopping area had become engulfedby Florida's wild condominiumization episodes that characterized the early 2000nds. In 2004 Tom and his partner, designer Kim Henry, closed the shop and concentrated on the online business. Our desire is to provide the most comfortable and beautiful hammocks possible with 5 star customer service. This is still a family run business; and every order and every customer is treated with the same personal service we extended to our customers in the shop. When you call Seaside hammocks for information or to place an order you will almost always be dealing with an owner of the company, ensuring that you will receive knowledgeable help and personal service.
